There are four types of leadership styles. They are:

i.  Democratic
ii.  Autocratic
iii. Bureaucratic 
iv. Leisure-faire

My training is team building-like approach. Many like this approach, as it always emphasize teamwork among participants. It's a combination of teaching knowledge old and new with the interlude of games, music and energizers. It is a fun learning. At the end of the day participants enjoy learning. To me it is very natural to do it this way. I emphasize the important of the participants to receive and understand the knowledge rather than I am completing my job. 


The other approaches is lecture-type training, a one-way approach. This could be suitable to a university class environment.

GEMS ACHIEVEMENT ON THE GRADS THAT I TAUGHT

When I was in GEMS Genting View Resort GVR 05 mid-Nov 2011, I taught and coached Group 6 on 'Information Management' module for two days. I always motivate the class with new data and information on the company's strength and analyse it in such a way as to how to overcome their weaknesses, for them to be better or aim to be the best companies at the end of the GEMS programme. I asked them to take and analyse other company data especially the top leading companies on the stock exchange. At that time Group 6 was 4th on the Stock Exchange Index.

Then I also taught Group 2 Green Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd for also two days whose CEO was very active, energetic and helpful to anyone, his name is Asrul.

You know what... Group 6 has jumped to number one spot after my class and stayed there until up to the last day where it was overtaken by Company 8 who then become the best company. Company 6 was on the runners-up spot.

What satisfy me the most was the improvement made by company 6. Bravo..!

Another achievement I am proud of myself is the Best CEO was awarded to Asrul who was the CEO of Green Travel S/B, the class that I last taught. Hmm..

I made my mark wherever I go.
